Wavescape Surf and Ocean Festival – Cape Town
A strongly ocean focused lineup of summer activities take place for the 2023 Wavescape Surf and Ocean Festival presented by Vans in March. No fewer than 13 events take place between 2 and 22 March. The festival will include open air film screenings with The Galileo Open Air Cinema, Beach Co-op undersea cleanup, Blue Oceans filmmaking workshop, the Slide Night evening of ocean talks, the Board Meeting family and board swap day, and the annual Wavescape Artboard Project, comprising an exhibition of artistic surfboards auctioned for ocean charities.
