Is this site and shop run by the real, legit blunt magazine South Africa?
Yes, we’re run by the magazine’s original founding editor and now owner Miles Masterson (bluntEd), under a South African Pty Ltd, with secure hosting, certified payment gateways and all that serious stuff.
Is blunt coming back in print in 2022, or will it be a website only?
We’re working on our website and social media first, adding more channels as we go – but blunt will definitely be returning in print in 2022. Follow us or subscribe for updates and to call shotgun on the first edition, as well as discounts and special offers.
Can I subscribe to the mag?
Not yet, but our intention is to bring out a regular print edition as well as other print stuff in late 2022. Follow us or sign up as an email subscriber for updates on when fresh things are happening.
Is the magazine really 100% independent for the first time?
Yes, blunt is solely owned and self-funded by Masterson Communications, owned by founding editor Miles Masterson, aka the original bluntEd (1997-2006; 2021- ) and put together by a small team of freelancers and contributors.
Are the back issues of blunt available online?
Not yet, but we’ll be working on uploading the entire back catalogue of old blunt magazines in PDF format.

Are the products on the site the only products available, or will you be producing more blunt merch soon?
We will release limited edition runs of blunt merchandise as well as select branded products and other surprises in digital and print in our online store this year. Follow us or subscribe for updates and to call shotgun on discounts and special offers.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, but due to fluctuations in shipping costs from South Africa overseas, if you want to purchase something from our website outside of the country, you will have to contact us directly for a shipping quote at hello@bluntmagza.com and we’ll give you a delivery quote based on the size and weight of your order, and your shipping address.
Should you want to then place your order, we’ll quickly guide you through the process. Please be aware that the customer is responsible for payment of all levied taxes, duties and customs charges, which are set by your country of residence’s customs agencies. These vary by country and we are unfortunately unable to provide you with an estimate of these fees.
If I buy something from the site and I am not happy with it, can I return it?
Yes, of course, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. We accept returns and exchanges on all of our products if they are: returned new, in unused condition, in the original packaging and sent back to us within 14 days from the date of ordering.
